Very interesting pose. I would have used slightly warmer tones and cropped it a bit tighter on the right. Good luck!

Greetings from the critique club

First thing I notice about the image is the nice tonal range, and how it meets the challenge well.

Composition wise - I think there's a lot going on. A tighter crop would have made it less busy, as well as allowed you to boost the contrast further for impact.

It appears a bit on the dark side on my monitor, maybe increase the brightness just a tad.

I also noticed that the image is only 102kb. You should try to use the full 150kb available, to minimise compression artifacts. In photoshop, that option would be 'save for web', where you can set a compression level on a 1-100 scale.

You have some very nice photographs in your portfolio. Keep up the good work!

Composition is good - you found a unique subject, and the person in the image gives a sense of proportion, which works out really well. Also meets the challenge nicely.

Lighting is a bit harsh on the left, and the colors are somewhat flat. If you shot this in a musuem, some of this would not be under your control. I do feel you could have played a bit with curves and contrast for impact. (assuming you have access to photoshop or equivalent). Some extra sharpening would help too.

I think you have a keen eye. Good luck in future challenges.

Nice portrait. The bottom left is a bit distracting. Like the model's pose.

Nice emotive expression. A touch of sunlight and a different background would have added a punch to this nice portrait. Good luck
