Can't it be both? Interesting shot, here (see, that works both ways, too) but I'm not finding a place to rest my eyes, a point that can give me some meaning for the shot. Granted, this could be like a modern art painting that is not meant to have a subject like a portrait or a landscape. Honestly, a detail from the shot, meaning a smaller section, could yield a more pleasing result. Play around with some crops and see if you come up with something good. Sorry to give you an assignment, but afterall, this site is about growth. Good luck.

Interesting shot...at first I couldn't tell if her eyes were wide open or mostly closed...still seems hard to decide. I has kept me looking for a few minutes now. I like the darkness, the suggestion of form, and the overall intrigue of this shot. Good luck.
