Friendships Mirroredby BradComment: Beautifully seen and captured. The exposure is just right, in my eyes. This shot may not the most on-topic in the challenge, but regardless, it is outstanding. Good luck. |

Beauty and the Beastby jmooreComment: Wonderful concept and well executed. I tried something in this vien in the Shoes challenge, but achieved nothing near as lyrical and sublime as this. I can say that I feel the boot is almost too dark, and that some of the detail is lost. I don't think that that is overpowering, however. Good luck. |

Its a Colorful Worldby GolferDDSComment: A stong contender for the top prize...a shot that is simply easy to understand. The color is, of course, the crux of your shot, and I think that you've done admirably. Good idea and good luck. |

Yin and Yangby xtineComment: I think this is one of the best in the challenge. I'm a big fan of the gritty black & white look, and this has it. This shot, whether found or set-up, has built-in odd coupleability - different directions, different levels, different clothing, different sexes. They are still similar enough to be considered a couple, though, so all is not lost. The only note I would have is probably a hold-over from thinking about the Square Crop challenge - that being that the top of the shot could probably have gone without being missed. Good luck. |

Secrets of comfort deep downby sumeetpuriComment: I'm going to have to remember to come back and read the details on this shot once the challenge wraps. I imagine that, as a stuffed animal, I would need lube, too, when engaging in coitus. After all, fabric isn't normally known for its slickness, at least not stuffed animal fabric. In either case, I would need to ask the other dogs and the sheep to give me and my partner some privacy. I couldn't stand them staring at me with their beady, dead eyes. You know, throughout this comment, I never mentioned the photo's technical attributes...why start now? |

GreENVIOUSby holidayComment: A nice photo that carries emotion, and the green is very impactful. My only complaint is that I wouldn't have picked up Envy from this, had it not been in this challenge or titled as it is. Honestly, I pick up more sadness or longing (which I guess could be a form of envy) from the shot. Good luck. |

Wrath of the Shooterby drisComment: A tad dark, but moody in the same instant. It took me a minute to realize that these were marbles. It is a bit abstract, after all. Good luck. |

Control? What Control?by coulphilComment: I gotta say that the pack of crackers made me laugh...I just never lumped Lance in with the likes of Big Tobacco and hard liquor. I like the concept here. The set-up and execution could be further refined, I feel, with a different composition to get closer to the objects. Good luck. |

Cleansing My Soulby lectrolComment: Good thing murder isn't on the list. This is an interesting idea, but I think it needs a little work photographically. Perhaps the lighting and the composition can be tweaked to provide more depth and impact. If you do remake the shot, post it on dpc so we can all see it. |
