Carolina Rainbow

Very hard to capture a great rainbow but you did a good job. Unfortunately I must just your photograph on how well you captured you subject (silhouette). You silhouette are the threes which, IMO, are not exciting. They do a good job of framing the sky. I feel the color of the sky is not natural and has excessive noise.

Nice picture of aurora Borealis unfortunately that's not the silhouette in your picture. The tree line is and it seems to be out of focus due to possible wind. To be honest, and I know you want an honest comment, the silhouette is not exciting. Would of been great if it was an old house or something of interest. Again I want to say you did capture a nice aurora. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice texture and sky. Subject stands out good but I believe the border took a lot away form your photograph. It makes the rocks seem washed out and makes the blown areas of the sky stand out more. IMO, a smaller white border would have brought out the foreground of rocks and calmed down some of the blown areas in the sky.

A very good photograph but I find myself asking, "is this silhouette or a very well backlit photograph". I must say, with this much detail within the subject, I find it to be more of a backlit technique than silhouette. However you did a very good job technically.

Alone at Sunrise

Interesting scene but the dark top that curves downward to the right and the the bottom dark area are distracting. I think bringing the reflective ground to the bottom of the photograph would of been a better solution. Also the side of building where the sun is half hidden splits the photograph down the middle. I think a better composition could have been achieved with this shot making it more appealing. I do find the tone and the city building along with the Crane in background interesting.
