I'm sorry but it appears it's been run thru a heavy pass in NeatImage, it just doesnt fit for this picture. All the detail in the dog's fur has been lost.

Cute picture and love the composition and contrasts begtween the whites and blacks.

I think this needs to be a bit brighter to help bring out the form a bit more. Also the bra marks on the skin are distracting. Still a nice photo (6)

Thank you Paul...

Yes the oversharpening is on purpose and I was trying to recreate a certain mood, I'm sorry... well not sorry per say, but there were a lot of people that didn't pick up on it. Which is fine, I like the shot anyways.

I'm sorry.... this was done very spur of the moment and I was in one of those "better to enter something then nothing" moods.

In my opinion, the border distracts from the image but I am voting on it as if it wasnt there.

Nice image as it stands but I think it will be more powerful if you could higher and take the picture from above. 7

I could sit here and type a story on how how I interpret this picture and how it effects me emotionally but even then, I feel that I could not explain it effectively.

I'm speechless or would it be typeless? :) I give it a 10 though, without a second thought.

I really like the idea, but it appears the light bulb shape was cut out of the background. There are what appears to be some jagged or rough lines, a cleaner cut or somehow a lighbulb it self would have made it more interesting to me.

A Christmas pickle!!??

Funny, I just called it a Christmas Pickle without knowing the history behind it. Only after people started commenting on it that I found some information out.

As Harz pointed out it's an American tradition. Supposedly all the stories of it being a German tradition, finding it for a lucky or special prize was all made up just to increase revenue. Actual Germans know nothing about the tradition, even glass blowers in Germany that make Christmas decorations.

This one was given to us by my girlfriends parents. This was one of many glass blown decorations in a very large box of glass fruits, veggies, dolls and other various Christmas themes. We hang this one on the fish tank where our fish "Mr. Pickles" lives.
