Very cool how the trombone is just lighted and the rest is silhouetted. I like the border too, though I know lots of people will probably complain it's too wide, I think it's fine because the line isn't too terribly bright relative to the image itself, as I've seen too many times.

Not really a silhouette, in my opinion. There is too much detail and lightness left in the city. But it is a nice composition, just not fitting the challenge as is.

Nice capture, very pretty sunset.

Oh, but after looking at it for a minute, what a weird sight! I noticed that the dog has a glowing light bulb for his wang!

Now that's all I can think about for this image.... wait, is that what the title is about?! lol! Tell me this shot wasn't set up. :)

I like the backlighting showing through the flower, it's pretty, but for silhouette, which is the topic, there shouldn't be any visible detail in the subject, it should be completely dark.
