IRby marboComment: Sweet image! It almost makes me dizzy to look at it since the sky looks like it is moving on my screen. I love the contrast between the rough, solid, earthy landscape and the smooth, rushing, colorful sky. A stellar image! |

ASLby timfythetooComment: I love the model's facial expression! It is hilarious. This image is bold but simple. The absence of any distracting (=interesting) elements in the background allow the focus to jump right to the man, and the humor in the image is fabulous. |

untitledby mobsterComment: I really like the lighting in this image and the was that the faces of the two men stand out because of the way they are lit. Great image, except perhaps that the man closest to the camera feels just slightly camera-shake-blurred (the rest of the image is far enough out of focus due to DOF that you can't see any blur). |

grape mirageby cheleComment: I love the look! But I think the ribbon/string is very distracting. Other than that, the image is amazing! |

L E M O Nby nsoroma79Comment: One thing I think is important in these types of shots is to bring out texture or pattern in the fruit. By backlighting a slice of fruit, you can make the image more dramatic. Another technique I like to use is a contrasting background, as I did in a couple of my challenge images. I think that in this image, the lemon flesh itself does not show up that well and kind of blends into the background. Maybe even a different angle of the light would improve this. Good effort, keep it up! |

Emotional Outlet by scalvertComment: Great shot, Shannon!
I love the title. It took a few seconds for the alternate meaning of the title to hit me, and I really like it--brilliant! I like it better than "Power Loss", since I think that "Emotional Outlet" is a pun with greater impact. I think it communicates a more concrete human trait than just the loss of power (which is a potential source of emotion, but IMHO less revealing).
Your creativity is consistently amazing. I'd love to know more about how you come up with your ideas. (On that note, thanks for doing the DPC podcast interview, that was fascinating!)

Life is Good: Enlightenmentby EvanHComment: Nice job! I would never have guessed that he was jumping. I thought you did it like scalvert's Light Reading, which this shot reminded me very much of:
