Tell ya what ... I would LOVE to see this exact image with DEEP DOF ... It is a beautiful shot ... I am one of those ones who think it is a bit TOO artsy fartsy but I think it was an excellent treatment for the Acronym challenge.

One of my top picks, I'm disappointed to see it place so low. The "freakiness" of the photo that seemed to turn some of your commenters off is precisely what draws me to it. Beautifully done - just perhaps too much art for the stock-loving DPC crowd.

She looks half real, half like a doll. Very interesting!

Satisfyingly Done Original Female - 8

Very nice capture. It is just a little too shallow for my taste (mainly just the left eye). I do like the shallow DOF and soft focus though. You did very well selectively sharpening the hair. Wonderful low key portrait.

Shallow Depth Of Field

It is shallow indeed! Somehow it feels unnatural though

this has an eerie quality to it, but i think that you do the title justice. Lovely eyes.

Even though her eyes are a little strange, I voted high for lighting, composition, color. Sepia tones & soft focus work well here. Being super picky, I would've toned down the highlighting on the side of the face a bit.

Too shallow, it looks kind of freaky.

Lovely photo of girl! Blur on one side of face a little distracting. And sorry, but this member of your audience doesn't know what SDOF means.

I recognize her but can't remember. Wonderful shot. Still trying to figure out the acronym. No points off, just wondering what it stands for. OH OH - shallow DOF. DUH - I'm dumb and you're brilliant.
