Santa Monica Trafficby mikewill73Comment: Beautiful! Colorful and dreamy. I love the foggy background and the streetlights on the dock showing illuminating the fog. The sky is gorgeous, the 6-pointed star effect is nice on the lights, I like the use of a vanishing point with the fence and highway and dock. |

Talking Treesby fraughtComment: This made me pause to think about it, the sillouhetting of the cell tower against the sky does make it less identifiable and more like a tree--good. I think it would be better though if it were a tighter shot of the tower, and not centered like that, it feels like the camera was accidentally pointed too high or something. |

At the stroke of midnight.by sissiComment: Gorgeous!!! Fabulous capture of fireworks. Nice and sharp and colorful. The foreground is a great choice, it seems the fireworks are decorating the building. |

New Sewersby hannafateComment: Interesting photo, a different part of city life than most focus on. The lens flare kind of washes out some of the image. I might try focusing on a point of interest or using shallow DOF to tighten the composition and bring out detail in some part of it. |

One Wayby quiet_observationComment: Good capture of bustling city life, but nothing is quite in sharp focus, it seems like the far streetlamp above and beyond the Hutchinson St. sign is probably the sharpest part of the image. My eye doesn't know where to settle. |

New Year Nightby balarilaComment: Beautiful sky. Amazing how you caught the moon and clouds and sky like this. Only complaint is that it's a tiny bit noisy in the sky and a little soft focus-wise perhaps. But still a very pretty picture. |

Let's Play Some Ballby Marc923Comment: Great detail, nice even lighting. I like the consistency it has between the 3 images, tying them together, and the way you made the angles symmetrical for the main lines in the balls. |

Split Bladeby DCThiessenComment: This is a beautiful image. I just love the lighting and to colors of it. The only thing that I could point out that I would change is the text on the blade, since it's the only text anywhere, it kind of interrupts the "flow" a little, but this is still one of my top faves this challenge. |
