Film Soldiersby trnqltyComment: Great composition, DOF, sharp focus on the single black canister. Good lines, the tilt really works well here. Nice B&W pic as well. |

Utensils Bluesby artvetComment: Nice composition. Not sure about the 'Blues' part of the title, I don't see any. Maybe the image is supposed to feel sad though. Great lighting. Interesting tones, is the orange cast done in post, or by lighting/white balance tricks? |

Melting Morselsby EddyGComment: Hmmm, thought I had commented on this during the challenge. I really like this one. I don't mind the shallow DOF, it's kind of nice, but I don't know about the choice of focal point. Either a deeper DOF, or a focal point at the very bottom of the frame would be interesting to compare. This kind of blurry->sharp->blurry shallow DOF sometimes doesn't feel "right" to me, though I usually like shallow DOF. Good shot though.
So you used vegetable oil, but were the chips also actually melting? I'm thinking maybe not, after looking really close. |

The Zipby KiwiChrisComment: Gorgeous. The tilted composition works well here, with additional interesting angles provided by the V the zipper creates. Is that natural skin color? It looks like it's been selectively desaturated. Or has it been powdered or something? 9. |

Twice a day, everyday!by smokeditorComment: Fantastic!! The color and clarity are wonderful. The shallow DOF really blurs the background nicely. I think we have a winner here. 10 |

Lampby Thousands_FallComment: I like the composition and the lighting. The main problem is that it's pretty grainy. Maybe using a lower ISO and Neat Image could help? And maybe slightly brighter exposure, so the object at the bottom isn't entirely invisible. |

Flowersby mrwaffles989Comment: Very cool! I love the colors of the flowers, and the rainbows projected onto the tabletop in their shadow. But a bit tighter crop might be better, and it kind of feels unbalanced with the light only illuminating one side. Also, the brightest spot in the image is at the center of the top edge, drawing the eye away from the main subject. But a beautiful shot nonetheless. |

CAT 5by PoobaComment: Extremely well done. The colors are great, as is the composition, focus, and DOF. |
