Great photo! I like the lighting very much and the soft, warm color. The driving car is pressed a litte too close on the left side. More space there would be nice but I guess there were other cars parking on this side which you better cropped out.

Nice idea! Would be even nicer if you hadn't zoomed in so much. Somehow the image of a lonesome colorful umbrella on long wall of uniform and grey balconies in my mind now ;-) The barbed wire (?) in the front is distracting but I guess you couldn't do anything about it.

Good "City Life" shot! Maybe if you zoomed out a little the left player wouldn't be cropped. This would also show a little more of the surroundings and thus stressing the contrast between the city (skyscrapers) and the "life" (players) more.

Great photo! Very good DOF and a nice color. A bit overexposured though.
Unfortunately it doesn't speak to me in the case of "city life". I know the street represents "city" and the leaf "life" but both have nothing to do with each other. There is no link between them. The leaf could lie on something else and it would be still the same photo.

i would have made a step forward ;-) that way the dark and distracting wooden fence would be out and more of the interesting stuff in the background could be seen.
the colorful baloons and banners catch my interest but that's not what's in focus.

for city "life" a bit too static for me. i know the intention was probably to show the silence and calmness at that time but somehow the photo doesn't transport that.
otherwise a very nice shot. the angle is just cool with the finger pointing to the building. maybe zooming more in and a portrait format would be better. that way the less interesting buildings on the left and right side could be cropped out and the building in the middle could be seen fully and also a bit more of the bronze statue.

good shot! excellent DOF. b&w works good. maybe a bit overexposured but this somehow creates a feeling as if this photo is a "dream" (also because of the soft light).
because of the black dress and sunglasses of the woman, she is the "center of interest" in the photo. dunno if that was intended but guessing from the title i think not ;-)
unfortunatley it doesn't speak to me on the matter of "city life". "day out"... is that in a garden somewhere outside the city where the stressed family relaxes? just guessing but i think the photo should tell me that...
