beautiful, i love the DOF and the lighting.. the only thing that bothers me is the shadow cast over the left of the leaf.. for some reason that just bothers me, i wish the whole thing were lit.. but i'll trust your judgment :)

neat lighting!! i wonder what it is... clever idea, as well, although the line down the center of the green and red crayons is extremely distracting.. some noise and dust specs, but overall a cool pic

lovely picture, it made me smile :) because of the bright shade of the flowers, the raindrops are difficult to see and take away from the purity of the petals. you might try a different angle that makes the water droplets a bit more visible, or trying a similar shot with either dry or darker coloured flowers

the shadow in the background is rather distracting.. perhaps softer light or a different flash angle (from the side, maybe) would help :)

this seems to be very close the the line of being a literal representation of a piece of artwork. I love the lighting and contrast in this picture, but I just don't get a strong sense of you, the photographer, in this. In the future, I would try to avoid dead-on pictures of artwork and instead try to infuse more of your own vision

interesting background, i'd love to know how you achieved that effect (and got validated, too!) Unfortunately, it almost makes this look more like digital art than photography which, in the context of this website, is probably a bad thing. I love the soft focus effects you got on the statue, it makes the centered composition seem not so typical.

the background in this one looks more like a painting or picture backdrop than real buildings.. very cool! i just wish i could see some richer colors in the background, but it's smog, what can ya do
