Being honest - NOT to offend. This doesn't do anything for me. I'm looking at this and what I think is...well, someone took 3 bags of frozen veggies, layered them on the counter, stook over them and pressed the shutter button with the flash. Although I personally don't see bags of frozen veggies that appealing, perhaps there are a few things that could help this. I would definately go for a different angle, perhaps set the camer on the counter, may use a shallow dof, maybe stack them evenly and shoot down the center of the even edges of the bags. Also, need to alter the lighting - turn the flash off and use a household lamp...or try Hokies ghetto studio setup (check in the threads). This is just my opinion. 3

OK, at first I marked this as a 7, but I'm changing to 8. At first glance, I thought, the coloring is so unreal-like....but now I'm thinking, why does it have to be real-like. This has really great composition and excellent DOF. It just really stands out. The blue looks great with the soft green background....OK, Now I've changed it to a 9, but that's it (..I know, I'm a pushover). I like abstract. This has that "look at me" quality...The berries just really stand out. The larger one on the bottom left, seems to almost be floating. Excellent work 9

Really nice work. I love the composition and the colors. Nice work on the background. Perhaps just a little too much sharpen/contrast - but it is still great. I also like how the skin, although not visible, makes a nice red outline. Excellent work. 10

I'm trying to get past the fact that this is just sooo unappetizing to me - way too slimy. Technically you did capture the glossiness of the wet squash and without too much contrast...but at the same time, it is very dark. I aslo don't understand what is in the background - or what purpose does it have. Just my opinion - not to offend. 5

I really like this image. One little thing though - this particular image, although great, doesn't really portray that childhood impression - well, that's not the way I remember balloons as a child - just my opinion. Anyway, I still love this image-good lighting and composition - 9

OOH, I like this one! and Sooo true too. I would be the one on the roof getting the birdie! Just wish the dof was greater...NOT, Just kidding, actually it is perfect! This is the type of image that should have a shallow dof. It really enhances the subject of attention. EXCELLENT - you know what, this is one of my very few 10s
