It sometimes amazes me how well these images work. When I think about it, it's the idea and your vision that's made it interesting. It's definitely not going to be loved by the majority on DPC, but, I for one am thankful that you did it.

I wonder if it's a certain software that does it or it's down to personal preference, but I have come across a few images like this recently on DPC. Something about it that looks to me like there's a clear layer of paint over it hiding some fine details otherwise present in the image. I can never be cerain, but there's definitely something odd about it - some sort of filter at an earlier stage perhaps. Or maybe I am just not familiar with something ..

And yeah - I like the shot :)

The colours are nice and there's something beautiful about the image, but it makes me ask what she's doing or trying to do. I am also finding it hard to make a connection to her and the surroundings.
