Day 19by JeniYComment: Great processing here. Really takes a modern scenario and puts it back in time. Very nice. |

20: big studio shootby muckpondComment: Nicely done, at first we see all the cheerful faces and then the array of differt colors (Shirts and Umbrellas) really grab ya. The gentleman in the green shirt may have moved his head a bit (seems softer) but like I say we are quickly studying the colors of the shot. |

Day 7: Ave-Dependenciaby phatphotoComment: This is very cool, I'm betting the 640 size does not do this justice. Lots going on here yet simple in design. Great composition. |

Slice of Life - Day 8 - Kids Soccerby JLCComment: Hey Jerry,
Cool stuff, and these are tough shots especially with the lighting that you had. Actually very tough with the sky as bright as it was behind em.
I'm assuming that you handheld these and probably @ 300mm (from shot info you entered)?
Remember the rule of thumb for telephoto lenses...(usually true) when handholding your shutter speed should be 1/focal length. At 1/100sec; any movement on your part or the players would cause blur.
Don't be afraid to take that Rebel to ISO 800 (1600 if you must) it can handle it. Message edited by author 2007-10-09 00:33:32. |
