Tango by the Ruinsby crude_artComment: I feel this could have been composed so as not to have the tree visually contacting the dancers. Otherwise, I love subject and photo.

life:death/green:rustby AlexHugelComment: I don't know what I am looking at but it is lovely. Reminds me of a salmon filet with green garnish. I would have liked the lower left corner to be as well exposed as the rest of the picture, but something seems to be casting a shadow over my desires.

What a rusty roofby andlbComment: Very lovely. The lighting is a little harsh on the tile in the background and the shadow across the chest is also unfortunate.

Birds of a Feather.... Rust Togetherby amylynComment: The ground does not offer much contrast for the ankles and feet. Maybe taking th picture from ground level would help. That would also emphasize the height of a bird designed to be tall. The lighting could also be improved.

For Sale Cheap - Contact Bonnie or Clydeby photomComment: I would like this picture better without so much sky. I also would have liked it better if it were taken while the sun still lit the engine. Unfortunately bullet holes remind me of the tears of those who have lost loved ones in all of human conflicts, not a pair of endearing thiefs.

spanner worksby microComment: This composition does not work for me. I certainly like the needlenose pliers lying on the spanner, and the readable print of the book or magazine cover is also appealing. That leaves the plastic screwdriver handles, but they seem important to the shot as well. The lighting, focus, and picture processing are all excellent.
So, you get a 7 with my apologies for not knowing why I did not give you more. |

Linksby peeceeComment: This is quite appealing. I would prefer the focus to be on the very left most horizontal link and then let the chain fade into oblivion with distance.

Old Lockby vtruanComment: Besides being overexposed, the colors are over saturated. The compositon and subject matter look like this had the elements of a very interesting picture.

Still Holding Strongby FirstyComment: I like this. Something keeps it from being perfect for me, so I will blame the harsh lighting and time of day at which the shot was taken.
Anyway, it is very close to perfection, a 9. |
