Nice colors. I cannot make up my mind whether the tower is integral to this structure of whether it detracts. I would love to see this photo without it. I like the dark behind the window, but find this side of the barn a little dim to occupy so much space in the photo.

Very nice. I like the unique posiitoning of the object of interest and the wood is very nicely lit and captured. These are very pleasing colors in the rust. I kind of wish that this was even more a closeup of the nail head even though the picture would need retitling.

Circular crop works very well. I like the grasses in foreground, cotter pin is very clear as are spokes. Lighting works well, although I do not think a little fill flash would hurt. Rust is such a dark diffuse subject.

Blue and orange almost exact complements. The color in the background is very effective. There is no question about what this photo is about. Nice lighting, focus, composition, and exposure. A very nice picture to look at and study as well.

I take it the rings are rusted. That is not at all clear to me. I would also like to have had enough depth of field that the lines on the pages were in full focus. Actually it is hard to tell where the point of focus is.

Rusty Bike Gear

This title reminds me of the one eyed one horned purple people eater. Were the people purple or was the people eater purple. It took a picture to answer the question. This bike is the most rusted bike I have ever seen. Nice lighting and beautiful setting with lovely spring blossoms, rocks, trees, and woods subdued but not lost in diffusion. I hope a lot of the other entrants study this picture.

Nice composition though I feel a little cheated at the bottom. Nice clowd formations, but the sky appears a little noisy. Have you tried neat image to eliminate noise from pictures. It is a free download. As rust is so dusty and so dark, I think a little fill flash would have helped this picture a lot.
