Rusted, but not archaicby s2fraserComment: The spring leaves work very well in bringing life to the dull brown of rust my eye is led to the far supporting arch, but the rest of the picture seems out of harmony with the line of that arch. A more traditional look down the bridge might serve this subject better than the one chosen.

Rustby LindaEComment: Very nice use of negative space, and the remaining paint on the circular door really increases the interest of this very nice composition.

The old farmby BiduleComment: I think this is a very lovely barn in a very lovely setting. I would like this framed more to the left. It appears as if there is more of interest to the left and the tall tree on the right is not needed to frame the barn. The sky is lovely especially the cloud immediately over the center of the barn.

Natalie's Rusty Playlandby IronworkerComment: Natalie is certainly a well adjusted child to put up with this degree of rust in her playground. I wish that car was out of the picture. A little cloning can easily remove it. I like the motion blur on Natalie and the focus throughout. A little brightening of the image would not hurt if the contrast can be maintained. Nice colors and wonderful composition and framing.

rusty sticksby sp00fComment: I like the little circular windows at the top of each stick. The variation in light and positioning help the composition. The blue in the sky is very muted to serve as background for this intense orange. Overall, I do not find enough here to hold my interest for long.

Rusty Tractorby debgoffComment: I would have liked this a lot better if all the other vehicles had been moved away prior to taking this shot. The sun reflected on the window of the car immediately behind is quite disturbing. The tractor itself is an excellent subject and certainly worthy of study. It is well lit for being in the shade, but a little fill flash might help as long as it does not introduce its own glares.

Bordersby pisuComment: I find the contrast between barb in foreground and that in back highly interesting. Look at this with almost everything else cropped from view. That would mean getting nearer to take the original photo, but I do like the part of the sky where the blue is deeper in color for background.
