Opposite endsby swisskissComment: A lovely setting and lovely young cattle. I just find the framing and composition unsatisfactory with cropped body parts and extraneous cows. A bit of walking about and waiting would probably have solved both problems.

Chaos vs. Orderby jonrComment: The heavy shadows really hurt. Other sources of light wold really have helped.

Opposing Pinsby cabaComment: This is a very nice idea, great exposure and lighting except for the shadow cast by the black pin on the wall above by light reflected off the mirror. A little light cast directly on the wall would help. You have achieved a great feat in getting nearly as much detail in the dark areas as in the light. Great job.

Variations of Old and New: Post Modern, Modern and Gothicby flip89Comment: This is a very nice composition in texture, color and form. A slightly different aspect, camera more to the left that would remove that slice of sky would help me as the tilt of the camera to the buildings already makes the two buildings on the right appear to be in one photo and the one on the left a collage.

Chalk & Cheeseby dhareComment: I seem to have to guess a lot as to what is opposite. Here it appears edible and inedible. Nevertheless, lovely color combination on nicely textured background mostly nicely arranged. I like so much the unshadowed surface of the chalk, I would wish the same for the cheese.
A 7. I just increased this from a 6 because the chalk is so outstanding. |

Bright Night in the Big Appleby janoComment: The composition of this picture seems okay and the colors seem okay, Even though the idea might be to show the difference between light and dark, the picture is far too overexposed for my likine.

Light and Shadow. A Kiss.by la magaComment: The fallen petals on the grass form a nicely colored mural for the tree shadows to play. I like the focus and point of view. The frame seems an integral part of this picture as if it were a window through which this scene was viewed by the camera. I just covered it with my hands and I think I like the picture better without.

Not Enough Shes for the Hesby jbeazellComment: The opposites being she and hes? NIce capture of the queue of males. The dark shadow that is fallingon he right and the number of over esposed areas detract from an otherwise very interesting shot.

Hot Salsa - Cool Chipsby MissMouseComment: The curve at the top of the chip and that at the top of the salsa are appealing. The plain background and the cup holding the chip and salsa are not very interesting together. A dark background would have helped with such a light cup.
I just do not find this a very appealing image.

My opposing friendsby novetanComment: Sorry, I don't get anything about this shot. If the answer lies in the shadows, then a 180 degree rotation would be in order. I f it lies in pants or shoes, then they are far too much out of focus.
