Daisyby PixelstateComment: This is a little on the dim side and lacks some oomph. I copied it over to Photo Shop, went into levels and adjusted the green channel to 32, 1.00, 255 and got what I believe is a really outstanding effect, while retaining, I believe, your artistic intent. A 9. |

Cheeriosby poxyComment: I think a wider angled lens would help with depth of field. There is not enough detail present in the two front cheerios to justify the lack of focus on the back two. The yellow and the frame are nice. A 6. |

Stoicby Mark of SRQComment: What a great lens. Nice angle too. The basic editing rules prevent singling out the sky for noise reduction, and the sharpening artifacts are just slightly noticible on the upper bill. From the point of view of yellow, I like the light yellow of the the eye and the dark yellow of the band between the eyes. Was he in the alert position, almost completely vertical, that Egrets take when disturbed? A 10. |

Yellow To Goldby spreadcomComment: Very nice effect. Look forward to reading about your setup. Aesthetically, the composition is very pleasing but the burnt out pixels in the center and the fuzziness of the light traces trouble me somewhat. It is also cropped a little tight especially for framing. An 8. |

Highlighting my eyesby jose3032Comment: You are off to a good start. A few ideas for you to consider. Reflect some light into shadow under chin. Shoot at several exposures especially when you have something as reflective as the highlighter. Move the backdrop further back and iron it. She really is a great model. A 7. |

Christmas Spiritby riotspyneComment: Elegant portrait. You really captured all the nuances of tone and texture. That is a very nice backdrop as well. I would have liked to see the left ear tucked up inside the hat rather then bent over. A 9. |

Golden Reflectionsby AlbireoComment: Perfect. I need to build a tabletop studio. I love the sparle on the left handle and the beautiful shadow. Congratulations. I hope you win. A 10. |

Roll the yellowby siquisComment: Half the fun here is trying to read the numbers in the reflection and align them with the sides of the die. I would vote for a more highly reflective surface. Well posed die and excellent lighting. The hot spot on the near corner might have been reduced in size by repositioning the light or the die, but I truly did not notice it until after looking at the reflection. Nice job. A 9. |

The Power of Oneby TomH1000Comment: Very nice composition. I love the buttercup as an interpretation of yellow. The marlble tile is well lit and the good focus throughout is perfect. I would like to see this lit so that the reflection is enhanced somewhat. A little difficult as the lower left petal has nearly reached saturation. An 8. |
