Perhaps a little harsher lighting to develop shadows would help. I like what I see but it all seems to run together.

Photograph is well lit with really interesting shadows. I have the sense though of looking up at a tall building. I would like to see what this would look like with the camera much higher.

Gorgeous. A 10. You know more than I will ever learn. The blue is almost a perfect complement for the rust.

The colors are great. The picture is well lit and crisply in focus. The composition is a little forced and regimented. The picture looks like the framing/cropping at the bottom was arbitrary and the blooms to the left of the handle seem disconnected. I also see very little rust, but that is at the bottom of my rubric.

I usually do not like objects framed or cropped through the middle, but it works well on this lock. The perspective of the stone fence behind the gate and the immediate interest of the chain on the gate really make an excellent composition. The DOF is just right to minimize the uninteresting portions of the picture and the crisp focus on the foreground are near perfection. Very close to an outstanding picture.

Good photographic quality. The lines just do not work for me. It could be in the framing / composition, or the subject just might not have lines I would consider coherent or aesthetic.

Very busy for a small print. This would work well at 20 by 30. It is a little on the dark side, but that adds to the sense of abandonment. A longer exposure later in the day might even the light distribution. The focus is good throughout, it would be nice for the light to be as well. I like the framing/cropping/composition.

An excellent point well made photographically. Very nice point of view and framing. Would hang well in every bike shop and garage in the world.

Interesting use of rust. I feel like I am looking up at the bottom of something or the photo is upside down. This one is okay, but does not blow me away.
