Slide Sleeveby IsaacComment: I guess I?m just not very photogenic huh. Dinner was fun though wasn't it? Maybe you should have submitted the shot of the ceiling in the pizza joint instead. - Happy Trails, -Mike |

Ugly Ducklingby rdesaiComment: This looks like a cross between a duck and a pomegranate. I?ve never seen a textured creature like this before ? Thanks for sharing this with us. This looks slightly over exposed for my taste, but everything else is great. DOF, composition, framing and certainly showing an odd texture. |

Soft & Wetby JEFFCOWLESComment: Wow, this looks just like the Boston Aquarium. Excellent shot, great texture, good clarity and detail. Your lighting is fabulous. You?ve managed to bring out excellent ?natural? colors in a difficult situation. - 7 |

Abandonedby BAMartinComment: Fabulous shot, I am having a difficult time with a critique on this..... I like the shot, the quality, clarity, tones - all superb. I think what is bothering me is either the angle is too steep for my taste, or maybe just a little too far off center. (or a combo of both). I really don't know. I'm trying to picture this in a frame -- -- it is good work. - 8 |

Aged Eleganceby GotchaComment: Thanks very much myqyl, I knew I was going out on a limb with this entry - I suspected that many would not see as vivid of an interpretation of texture, simply because this photo is showing texture from a distance. -Many are very literal in the way they interpret the challenges_ (I am very pleased with 11th place) - Thank everyone for taking the time to comment. This photo was taken in the USA - at the very photogenic - Mission San Juan Capistrano, founded 1776 - |

She Sells Sea Shellsby KarenBComment: I love this, as one of my top 3 for this challenge - it works so well in B/W. I would love to see just a little more of the bottom half of the starfish. Great piece of art. but what is under the starfish on the left side. It's not distracting or offencive in any way but it bothers me that I can't tell what it is. Good luck - Mike |
