November Bike Raceby kirtiebuComment: Too blurry, but not obvious speed blur, to be effective in my opinion. Also has a snapshot feel to it that I don't think would be as suitable to a calendar. I think I might have tried to get back a little further and get more of a feel of the "race". All just an opinion. |

Portraits of an Infant - Januaryby ArtysteComment: Wonderful job in lighting and set up. I think I would have preferred just the baby and cropped off the right side with the stuffed animal, or brought the animal closer into the frame with the baby. They appear too disconnected to me. Great touch with the cotton!! |

Juneby s2fraserComment: Just beatiful to look at, but not of lasting interest in my opinion. If there were a bird or something on the water to add a focal point of some sort, I think it would be a terrific calendar piece. I know you can't control the environment; just giving my opinion on the overall resulting image. |

Decemberby kevrobertsonComment: What beautiful lighting in a night shot!! The lights strung overhead and the motion blur of the walkers are distracting for me. |

November in So. Ca.by plumber711Comment: I really enjoy this type of scene and think it is perfect calendar material. The only thing bothering me in this shot is a lack of a focal point to rest on. It should be the boat, but it is too light and small in comparison to anchor itself and almost appears floating from my perspective. Focus is a tad soft and the lighting has a bit of a gray cast on my monitor. |

Mayby RoosterComment: I am really torn on this shot. The huge difference in focus is unsettling to me one moment, and a bit intriguing the next. I am quite familair with shallow DOF for this type of shot, but in this case it just really jumps out with no gradual inbetween. |

Octoberby KanntaraComment: DOF and focus are too far in this I feel. The background nosie is a bit distracting also. |

Novemberby JohannesFrankComment: I have no feelings about borders in general, but in this case, I think the border is ruining a perfect image in all other ways. |
