Please don't be offended by this comment. I am making an effort to comment on all images that I scored below a 4. Although your image meets the challenge requirements, I believe attention to the following might have served to make it work better for me (Mind you, this is only MY opinion):
Image is very dark, out of focus, wrinkled background is distracting. Cropping foot of glass makes it feel out of balance. Blue color does not enhance beverage. Bubbles are barely visible. Image is much smaller than the allowable size.

I'm guessing that you were going for the motion effect with the blur; but with nothing in focus it kind of makes me dizzy.

Composition is OK, with maybe too much negative space. I think the hand would be better without the thumb being cropped off. Image is very, dark, blurry and has lots of noise.

I love cats, and this has the potential to be a cute idea.
Here are the things that bother me about it: Blurry, Grainy, Flash reflection in mirror and extremely blown highlight on bubble wand. Composition doesn't do much for me and the mirror and shadows in background are very distracting. Don't feel bad, though; I think it will do better than my entry.

From a technical standpoint it's good, except the hotspot on the wall. I'm not realy crazy about the crop, but it's in focus and seems to capture a playful, carefee attitude. The reason I didn't vote it higher happens to be a matter of personal taste. I'd be happy to explain that in a pm, but would rather not leave it as a comment.

It's a bubble; so I gave it points for meeting the challenge. Otherwise, it's dark, blurry, unattractive background, unappealing color and too much glare to suite my taste. Don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat with you on this challenge. Hope we both do better next time!

I'm guessing this is a lava lamp? Aside from it meeting the challenge, there isn't much that makes it work for me. It's a good idea, though; and with a sharper focus, no glare and minus the overwhelming border, there is some potential.

Please don't be offended, but this strikes me as a hasty, last minute snapshot. Don't feel bad, though...I set up, shot and edited my shot 15 minutes before the deadline, and it's really bombing! I gave this one points for having bubbles, but there isn't much else that works for me.

I voted this a 7 too. It didn't bother me that it wasn't much of a branch. It's such a good shot of a pepper. Love the colors and the plain background. Possibly an opportunity for a more dynamic composition; but I still think it should have scored much higher.
