Abstract Desertionby CutterComment: Originally posted by Shermy: Originally posted by RPvanderHilst: Apart from the Y-shape there really is no symmetry here.. -5- |
This made me laugh. It's like saying about a portrait "apart from the person in this picture, it is not a portrait".
Anyways, I thought the picture was creative :) |
Exactly...haha. That's what I thought. To my discredit, I re-read the challenge descrip and it said "use symmetry to compose your photograph".....which I did not do at all. So this is the one time, where I will freely admit, I screwed up....oh well. There is symmetry, natural as a matter of fact, but not the whole image which I now feel was the point. |

Boats of the Andaman Sea by orvaratliComment: Wait a minute, wait a minute. Take a look at Mr. Atli's top 4 scoring images. All Free Studies....Looks like he knows how to score exceptionally high in Free Studies, which is basically cheating right?
Okay, kidding. I love the colors. The composition is screwy, but I don't think anyone cares because the beauty supercedes it. |

He Reignsby timfythetooComment: I said, "Bravo" before and I repeat. Actually not to steal any of your thunder, but perhaps he is the papa of my lion adolescent who so dutifully gave me the stare down too! I couldn't help but think of the similar look.

Bibaby ShermyComment: You are incredibly photogenic....in a modelly sort of way. By that I mean, your features really express, exude and...and....can't think of another "ex-" word. But you get the point. Love the b/w tones. |

Street performerby edmengComment: The copper tones throughout this really are unique. Should have scored higher. |
