I don't think the fingers add anything to the miage... I can see where they might be in there to make the theme more obvious, but I'd suggest taking the controvertial road and make the better photo at the risk of a few comments from people who don't think it meets the challenge. I think a bit more saturation and sharpening would help image quality as well.

Exposure is way off, subject is blurred. I don't really see emotion in this either. I'm afraid I see this as a failed attempt at a very controvertial cliche.

Neat alignment of the birds - almost looks like you arranged them! Nice to see a bird/water shot that makes good use of frame space. Would like a bit more sharpness, but that's of course subjective.

With such a geometric and simple (in terms of number of elements) subject the composition becomes more critical to me. Seeing these off center slightly and tilted counter clockwise is distracting. There's also some overexposure. I do like the concept though.

I would like to see a bit lighter touch on the edge fades. Looks like you've captured nice clean scenery that doesn't need to be completely obscured.

With the chopper obscured and lack of sharpness I just don't think this image works.
