spanner worksby microComment: Interesting placement, good lighting and focus. The sharp contrast of the white on black lettering on the book in the background vies for attention when the rusty tools should be the focus. |

Plain Rust...by tpoultonComment: A little too out of focus at the front, but the graininess creates an interesting feel for the image. |

"Happy Birthday Rust T. Nails"by sevenine0Comment: Seems to be a bit out of focus, or perhaps overexposed near the flames. I'm sure in a dark background this would be difficult to get clean exposure on everywhere. |

Rusty Linkby svellutComment: The depth of field is a bit harsh in this image. There doesn't seem to be enough of it in focus to create an effect. A slightly less downward angle may have obscured some of the lines in the floor which are a little distracting. |

smoke houseby bry1Comment: The tools on the ground, and the red post on the left of the image are distracting from the subject. Onfortunately, the subject itself doesn't have neough contrast throughout it for how much of the image it dominates. Might have worked better to show more of its edges, or take the shot in a different lighting configuration (maybe with a lower sun). |

Rust Awayby MobiusComment: I love the simple detail in the curve, and the subtle plant growing in the corener. This image's simple but textured background has a great contrast with the design lements that reward the viewer for taking more time than a quick glance. Well done. |

Rustic Countryby sbrandtComment: I'm having some trouble with the depth of field on this one. I want the fencepost in the foreground to be in focus as its blurring distracts from the wood which is in focus. I'd want the wood to be the focus, but not have it be so challenged by the large metal post. Otherwise, point of view and composition are good. |

Rustby bmatComment: Interesting color in this rust, and a unique shape / texture. The overexposure at the right is a significant distraction though. |
