Neighbors Flowerby ericwooComment: It feels like the flowers are out of focus... The high contrast of this image seems to cancel out any soft-focus effect (if it was intended as such). With a high contrast background I'd go for razor-sharp. With a mid-contrats background the soft-focus may work better. The border also give me a bit of claustraphobia. |

Anomalyby zeuszenComment: This is fantastic! Wish you'd put in some comments as I'm curious about whether this was quick thinking or serendipity. Either way, I love a good natural abstract, and this is top notch. |

Blurred Interlude by jjbeguinComment: In my time on DPC I have given very few 10s... This is one of them. This image is amazing. I don't know if it's who you are, but I have rarely seen such synergy from every discernable element of an image. |

Sirenby SonifoComment: High key done right... Perfect expression, great pose, and the high key really compliments your look in this shot. Very well done! |

Death is in the Windsby chefsamComment: Awesome composition, but the image feels a bit soft to me... With some more sharpness I think it would be incredible. Possible some fill lighting from the lower left as well. |

Shades by dsa157Comment: Wow! This image is fantastic. The reflections in the glasses really add a unique feel. Exposure and detail is excellent as well. I hope you place well! |

By the riverby nsoroma79Comment: Looks like highlights are blown on your face... You needed a buddy to hold a reflector / diffuser in front of you. |

Just Meby gtroiaComment: I'm not sure that the negative space is helping... You've a great pose and expression, but I think a portrait cropping would draw more attention to the subject. |

At homeby MambeComment: To me, this image screams to be reinterpreted in a duotone... The forms and lines are so crisp that the colors almost distract from the stronger qualities of this image. |
