Lost and Found by ZoomdakComment: Awesome reflections with those true colors of the coast at sunset :) Lovely way to put the sun into the heart of the floating glass ball, even though Japan is the "land of the rising sun" and this sun is obviously setting. Hope this places 3rd! 10 |

Beach Vortexby charliebakerComment: For those who asked...
The vortex was created by a pair of lights inside a plastic ball on a string which my son (Zoomdak on DPC) swung around as he walked slowly away during the 30 second exposure at midnight on the north coast of Oregon in Cannon Beach.

Nightlightsby bryanbrazilComment: Stunning view of Yosemite! I spent time here as a child, and remember the starry nights, the firefall, the wonders of the Merced River and Half Dome. Thanks for a great entry! |

The Typistby NuzzerComment: Really cool concept and execution for this shot. I love the greyscale. It also captures a realm of 21st century life in relationship, sitting at a keyboard sending messages to people we love. |

Nebula @ 119 secondsby bvoiComment: Astro-photography is a wonder to those of us who are still struggling over white balance and f stops. Thanks for helping us to see the bigger picture! |

Midnight Sunby terjeComment: I love the peaceful blue/white you've captured (or post processed?) as well as the contrasting shapes of rock and triangular building. Lovely composition and aperture settings. |

red skies at nightby RikkiComment: One of my favorites to win this challenge. The color tones are pleasing in a surreal kind of way. The composition is beautiful with so much negative space for us to wander up into. The horizon seems a tad oversharpened. Overall, very pleasing to the eye. Thanks for a great entry! |
