Here Lies Our Forestby ArtysteComment: Excellent alternative for this challenge. I detest clear cuts, and have often thought of them as cemetary like in looks, but more grotesque. Thanks. |

Final Prayerby heidaComment: This impressive figure would have been so much more powerful if he/she had filled the screen with the cross/stone as a backdrop. I love the vertical layout of this photo, unlike so many in this challenge which chose the horizontal landscape layout. |

Remembranceby bryanbrazilComment: The angle of this photo points our focus downward rather than upward, causing us to limit our perspective rather than expand our perspective. I can see in my mind's eye the rows and rows of white gravemarkers, but they are off the edge of this photo. Great lighting. |

Rest in Snowby ceyvalComment: Cool! Nice choice of subject. My only crit is that a vertical layout would have captured the top lines of the church building and pointed the viewer heavenward, the direction our hearts/lives always need to look when reflecting upon death. Beautiful photo. |

Sadly Rememberingby riversongComment: Great composition! Lovely contrast of tones, with the penumbra of light haloing the statue. Excellent choice. I love the vertical "portrait" layout. |

Forgottenby cadbikeComment: Closer up would have served my eye better. Fill the screen with what has been forgotten. the foreground is distracting. The eroded tomb is very interesting to see, just too far away. Horizon line seems tilted. Maybe its just me. |
