Banff Stationby NodWagComment: A good camera angle for a train under snow packed mountains,
which serves as a perfect background.
Good Depth of field. Lighting is naturally bright and even.
Crisply shot, (We can see the 9120 number on the front of the train)
And the houses on the sides, (or are they train stations) frame
the tracks, which in turn lead our eyes to the train.
Good job. |

Haliaeetus leucocephalusby philupComment: The detail of the feathers and eyes wonderful and beak is well centered.
Lighting is good, and no distracting objects in the background, because
this closeup fills up the whole frame.
But beyond the technical, a good photo of a bald eagle should evoke
American pride, and this one does. |

Mandijoby w0fcmComment: Good, simple, clean composition. Nothing distracting in the background, and
the hair ribbon is a nice compliment to the overall look.
Lighting is bright, but nothing glaring. One minor fault is the
focus is a bit on the soft side. Not blurry, just a bit soft.
Overall, a good photo. |

Postmaster R2D2by krafty1Comment: How creative! I wish I thought of that.
This one is crisply shot. Technically, the only flaw I see is the ground
on both asphalt and red brick are overly bright. The stores in the background
should not be thought of as distractions as they add to the natural
look of a small town downtown street.
May the force be with you and your entry. |

Goth Glam by QartComment: Awesome! In a Goth Glam sort of way. Technically it's great as well.
Crystal Clear. No background distractions. Vividly colorful, as they mesh
well together. Definitely not dull. It grabs a viewer's attention.
Fits theme well. Lighting is almost perfect. ( A tiny bit bright
on the left side of her jaw and cheek. A creative composition.
Top 10 entry for sure, and a probable ribbon winner. |

Childhood dreamsby srugoloComment: She's the best part of the photo. (expression on her face, body position,
skin tone, outfit design and color) However, the light coming through
the bottom part of the window is a bit too bright, distractingly so.
But she more than compensates for this minor flaw.
Still quite good overall. A Seven. :-) |

Still as a Statueby XileboComment: The cat is fine, but the all white background makes it look like you
cut and pasted the cat. Also, natural surroundings, even if blurred, makes for a more interesting composition. |

The Old Bridgeby owenComment: Usually reflections are a nice touch. But here it takes some focus
away from the bridge. Otherwise, this is well shot. I like how the
trees and hill frame this shot. |
