Domestic Communionby firesundogComment: not quite getting this one...why is the rosary in the water (holy water?) and why is it domestic? Interesting and makes you want to know more...technically even if the right side was meant to be blown out with white the lights reflecting off the water is distracting |

Touched by the Evening Light by librodoComment: absolutely beautiful, one of my favorites of the entire site and it should've taken the blue ribbon!. I'd like to see a copy though with less sharpening, the nose is generally an area I try to avoid oversharpening on because of the large pores. Sometimes I go back and blur the pores a bit to make them less noticeable, the sharp/grain look looks fine everywhere else, but overall ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I love the color treatment and the composition with the eye/veil/hand. |
