"Apple Bees"by SammieComment: A good composition made great by the use of the vertical shadows. Well done! |

Retired Athleteby miaminoviceComment: This has the appearance of a snap taken hastily out the window of your car as you were on your way home one night. The subject is uninteresting, the tones are dark and depressing, and the drops on your lens are distracting. |

Pride of London by ImagineerComment: I have returned to this image several times and still can't stop staring. Stunning result. The tones of the sky alone are breathtaking. I bow before your talent. |

Golden Pastaby Judith PolakoffComment: This still-life shows such perfect preparation, but it requires some time to appreciate. I confess that I almost passed over it in my "large challenge haze." I'm sure glad I stopped to look. Amazingly beautiful composition. My hat is off to you for creating and sharing this. It's one of my top picks for the challenge but I fear your wonderful entry will be lost in a stack of glitzy sharp peppers or flowers. |

Yellow makes me happyby AlipioComment: I'm voting this one up just for execution. This is a recent fad on DPC (refracting drops) and you have pulled off a pleaser here. Well done conceptually and technically. |

Sour Noteby tyt2000Comment: I've come back to this one a few times (itself an accomplishment in a field this size). Somehow the purple background with the yellow of the lemon and brown of the fret-board make an intriguing combination. This one has really grown on me and for some reason my eyes love to wander over it. A pleasing entry to this challenge. |

My GOLDEN Retreiverby Girl from OZComment: Too small and shots of pets are almost never interesting to others unless they are spectacular. This is a nice snap but not spectacular. |
