| I've come back to this one a few times (itself an accomplishment in a field this size). Somehow the purple background with the yellow of the lemon and brown of the fret-board make an intriguing combination. This one has really grown on me and for some reason my eyes love to wander over it. A pleasing entry to this challenge. |

| hrmm...my first thoughts, interesting. My eyes are definately drawn to the yellow lemon and seem to ease into the photo and notice the less-subtle things upon careful examination. Great composition, good saturation and good lighting as well. good job |

| Revisiting this photograph. I find the lighting to be quite remarkable in this shot. Plus, the focus and exposure is perfect. Bumping up to 7. |

Ah, yes. I play sax, guitar, piano, flute and drums and I am very guilty of hitting these sour entities. very nice comp with lovely background. A smart selection because purple is the opposite of yellow. Bumping up. |

| How wise to use the complementary color as a background and add a little touch of humor, too. Good focus and composition. It does lack some of the interest for me that a few of the other entries have, but you have a technically sound photograph here, IMO :) BOL |

| I am a huge guitar fan, and I do like lemons. Excellent composition, loves the way the lemon seem natural on the fret due to the white spot. 10 Good luck! |
