After the Verbby MambeComment: Breathtaking sky and good sense of how to crop for maximum drama. |

In America's Beginning!!by mightythorComment: Would have been much improved with a darker background and more dramatic lighting - oblique, creating shadows. Looks like you might have used on-camera flash, virtually always the worst way to light a pic. |

The Spawn of Timeby FalcComment: I think this is a great picture, but I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking at, and I've stared for quite some time now. My first hunch was some objects trapped in an amber-like substance, but I decided that's not it. The objects look like embryos, which would be supported by the title, but where are they? What's all the stuff around them?? I'm scoring a 6 in spite of my confusion - it's an attractive, scientific-illustration-type picture. |

Sonoran Starlight by kirbicComment: Good lord Kirbic, my hat is off and my jaw on the floor. I'm coming over there for lessons on how to capture a shot like this. Get the coffee going!!
Congrats! |

Venezian Sunsetby tazzaComment: Nice shot. I might have tried to get more of a burst of sun through that window though, maybe lengthening your exposure a bit. Nice capture though. |

The Grand Canalby tazzaComment: A very nice nightshot. You've pegged your exposure very well, any more and the lights would have blown out. |

Lago-de-Patzcuaro.jpgby efrenComment: A touch too dark in the foreground, and again, a slightly tilted waterline, but otherwise a very pretty shot. |

Pescadores-en-Patzcuaro.jpgby efrenComment: This should be fixed to level the horizon (esp waterline). Aside from that, it's a very nice study in contrasting backgrounds; deep blue water, brownish foliage, hazy blue mountains, and then sky. You should correct the horizon line and spend some time processing for maximum "pop" on your background and sky. This could be a very nice print. |
