Prehistoricby dartompkinsComment: I love the dark tones and overall dark feeling of the photo. I'm not sure about the legality since it looks like a selective desat, but I'm voting as if it's a fair entry. Good sense of how to crop your subject. The pixelated background looks odd, like a shot in a cage? |

In the beginning of the spring, an almond treeby pasaroComment: I love the idea, but I think the image suffers because there is no clear focal point for the eye. A tighter shot on a few of the blooms, maybe with a branch or two visible might have been better. As it is, it's a bit soft and indistinct. |

this is how is wasby gtp1164Comment: Nice use of the trees to add drama to an otherwise forgettable sunset picture. There is a softness to the image though that is unfortunate. Composition is a bit lacking because of the odd horizon line, dipping so suddenly on the left and ending high on the right. |

Dinner For Twoby sofapezComment: Yum. Count me in. I'd have left out some of the background clutter and focused on the main meal ingredients. Minus the background, there is a good formula here for a dramatic still life. |

String Theoryby srbrubakerComment: I didn't realize that the tiny, 26 dimensional vibrating strings of the theory had such structure and detail, even lint! Nice "out of the box" idea. |
