Balanceby SammieComment: Seems to me an uninteresting shot. Nothing captures my eye and makes me wonder or say "wow." Shooting an interesting shot with rocks as the subject is tough, I know. 5. |

Honestyby TelehubbieComment: Oh, that is soooo good. I'd love to meet this guy and shoot him sometime myself (with my camera, that is). Great real life candid. I love the inclusion of the cars zooming by. This shot has such great reality and makes me ask questions of what I see. Perfectly done. |

Boldly going...by bucketComment: Lovely candid study! A very emotive shot, suggesting lots of possible interpretations. I love a photo that makes me stop and ask questions. Yours does!! |

Zac Johnsonby jmsetzlerComment: Great shot of a kid who's probably experienced some rejection and hurt. Love the tight crop and focus on his face and upper body. Wish the glasses were a little higher so they weren't cutting his eyes in half. Gutsy, reality based shot. Kudos to you! |

Kjetil Rekdalby terjeComment: GREAT candid looking shot, but the border is waaay overdone, IMO. You'll probably get comments on the apparent on-camera flash too, but I think it works out fine with this particular shot. Very nice. |

Waitingby joaquinComment: Very cute portrait. I probably would have tried a tighter crop, maybe just the face and folded arms over the leg. Nice job with lighting and the black backdrop. |

Reflection of the Rockby prbettsComment: Simply breathtaking. I'm sure you're getting crucified because there's no paper or scissors, but the hell with that. This is a beautifully executed shot and captures both emotional impact and technical detail. Superb. |

Practice has begun..by singsunshineComment: Quite a serious job composing and setting this one up. Great concept. The execution seems to be lacking in punch somehow though. Maybe a closer crop, ignoring the points of the blades and the negative space at the top? I'm not sure. Maybe find a way to avoid the awkward wall-mirror-drape complication in the back?? Great concept but probably could have used some tweaking. Are you getting hammered because of no rocks or paper? Thought so. |
