narcissismby aplomb76Comment: Hmmm, I like the presentation and crop. Chopping the forehead and leaving shoulders prominent feels "right" to me. Something feels off to me though, maybe the shadows around the eyes and mouth? Not sure. Nice intense and serious portrait. Not sure I get your intention though with the title. Good job. |

After the Rainby DefyTimeComment: Very nicely done and love the crop. I'd love to see this in vibrant, highly saturated color though. This shot seems to cry out for vivid greens against a softly blurred background. Having chosen the BW though, you've achieved a beautiful tonal range and very pleasing depth. Nice job! |

True Gritby scalvertComment: An inspired idea - truly the work of a cruel, cruel mind. I like the angle chosen for the shot, but the darkness at the top is a bit problematic. |

Engagedby cabaComment: I love your idea here but the execution just doesn't seem to speak loudly enough. The softly blurred city background is much stronger than the silhouetted couple and constantly draws attention away. I'm sure you went for the portrait crop because of the beautifully lit tower, and I can't argue with that. However, the overall image makes me want to like it a lot more than I actually do. |

Prairie Silhouetteby pamretzerComment: You have created a beautiful image here but I know you are getting hammered in the voting because it's too small. You are given 640 pixels, it is simply imperative that you use them all. This could well have been a top 25 image. |

Farewellby LevTComment: An absolutely wonderful image in every way. The beautiful tones, detail in the ocean, the setting sun, the dock and the person with surf-board. I can't think of a single thing you could have done to make this a stronger image. Simply outstanding! |
