Absolutely beautiful flower photo, but the frame is uuuuuuugly, IMO. Photo has beautiful balance between the highly saturated petals and parts to the dark greens and neutral backgrounds. Stunning photo. Did I mention that I hate the frame? I thought so. 7.

Absolutely breathtaking. I almost had to take a step back from the monitor. Quite a different take on a flower macro and so refreshing. The colors and textures are stunning. This is a marvelous accomplishment. I hope it finishes at least top 10.

Very interesting idea, but the fact that the window light is so blown out is too bad. That's a very tough exposure to capture correctly, but there are ways with some post processing hocus-pocus. Nice entry.

Near the End

Definitely not a boring sunset image. I love the silhouetted buildings and the tones in the sky, but the sun's rays washing over the mountain in the background are just breathtaking. Kudos to you for capturing this image and your post-processing, if any, is superb. The only thing "wrong" with this image is some may bump you down because it's "just" a sunset. What it is, is an example of why sunset shots can be so effective, and can work so well. Congrats on a great entry and a great accomplishment.

Was this taken during the challenge dates or in the 1950's?? Seriously, love the use of selective desat. I like the little bits of the background that also retained their color. Beautiful truck and an image that surely meets the challenge.
