Interesting take, but the blurred quality of the water isn't as effective, especially since you're calling attention to the wave in your title. I like the innovative use of negative space though. I'm not sure if you could have achieved the faster exposure necessary to freeze the water or not. Could have been great. Overall, I like the photo but IMO it lacks the punch it could have had if the wave was sharp and defined.

Lovely! I would have been very tempted to bump the saturation and bring out the blues in the sky and the greens/yellows in the foliage. This could have really been a WOW image, but very nice as is.

White queen should be on a white square - board is oriented incorrectly. Sorry but that's a deduction. Technically an OK photo but something is keeping it back from being dramatic. Maybe I just can't get past that darn queen on the dark square....uurgh!
