fathers of lightby dl_maggiComment: For DPC old-timers, this is a theme that has proven its worth time and time again, yet you've brought a fresh look and feel to it. I love the golden hues and the overall colors. It's a stunner for sure. Great job, bumping up! |

Stareby lovethelightComment: Very intense, an in-your-face shot. I love the close crop. The colors are just as stunning as the expression on her face. The eyes are a little too sharp and well defined, but oh, what eyes! Startlingly good! |

Curls (Head to Toe)by cloudsmeComment: Incredible. From "head to toe," an absolutely perfect shot. I can't imagine who she is or what she's thinking, but I want to know! This shot seems to oooze personality and charm. The flexing toes, the hands in the pockets, the slightly cocked angle of the head and ooh, that facial expression. This shot is a tour de force. Larger than life. Whoever she is, I hope the parents have a framed 16x24 on their wall!! |

Pondering Lifeby KelliComment: Beautiful animal, but the viewing angle and the composition don't quite work for me. The fact that part of her body is hidden behind the head/neck, and the relative centeredness of the composition make for a slightly weaker feel than if you had captured the sprawl of the body from the front, paws out, head thrown back, etc. I like the detail visible on the face and the scruff of the neck, and the glint of green in her eye is lovely. Could have been much stronger, but a very nice shot as is. |

Off Balance/In Colorby heavyjComment: There's a tension here between the closeness of the woman's face and the negative space on either side. The space tends to direct the eye into the face, but I'm left longing for more of her. I love the hint of texture in her eye makeup and lipstick. I love the hint of hairline, the barely visible ears. Overall I think it's very effective image and one that would make an excellent print. Her facial expression is mysterious and intriguing. This second look for a comment also gets a bump in score... |

Lethal Beautyby trevytrevComment: Excellent animal portrait. Great composition/crop and remarkable detail visible throughout. The photo really would have popped if it was just a bit brighter and if the eye was a little more "pimped." Excellent job! |

Just...So. by QueenCComment: Very sweet, attractive photo. Nicely composed and/or cropped. My only complaint is that, lacking a clear view of the girls' faces, we don't get as much of a human connection with the image. Excellent job of capturing a nice moment. |
