Too funny! Nice job placing the sun right behind the glass. I don't usually like centered compositions so I would have moved the light out of the center, but this i a nice shot and a creative entry for this challenge. Good job!

Now when they said "backlighting"... :-) Seriously, this is a well conceived and executed photo with excellent lighting. My personal preference would be to make the subject larger and move it to the top left of the frame (essentially cropping out most of the black), but the way you've done it has a lot of interesting qualities as well. Nice job!

This is a really beautiful shot. I wonder why the sky looks so liquidy? If you like, maybe after the challenge you can select just the sky and blur it a bit to get rid of that unusual texture. Still, this shot came out really nice.

Nice closeup with good lighting. But the shot does look like it's been oversharpened a bit and maybe enlarged as well. After the challenge, you might want to select just the background and blur it a little to reduce the noise.
