Extraordinary study of black and white contrast with an outstanding subject and excellent composition. The lens flare is the only thing I don't like about this otherwise gorgeous photo. Very nicely done!

I love everything about this photo except for the bit of a halo around the tomato and parts of the fork. Other than that minor point, this is a really nice image that works great for this challenge.

You got that right! :-) The ground strikes are really cool, but the lightning above the clouds is just amazing. There might be a bit too much black on top, but otherwise this is a really gorgeous photo of an outstanding subject. Great job!
