A winters benchby drake217Comment: I don't really like the crop on this. It looks like you were intentionally trying to hide something at the top. |

Over The Topby HipychikComment: um, ouch? Is the human body supposed to be able to do that?
Great colors. Not so wild about the shadow though. |

MistyNewyork.jpgby cujeeComment: I love how the top of the shot has you thinking black & white, but then you surprise with just that hint of color. Nicely done.
The one thing I'm not a big fan of is the 50/50 split of sky and cityscape. I'd try it as a square crop with 1/3 sky, 2/3 city. |

framed by timfythetooComment: great photo as always, Tim. Obviously a lot of work.
But I too would like to know how you did it in basic editing. I would understand a color kid holding B&W photos, but the B&W kid holding color photos has me a bit confused.
Please, do tell. |

Repetitionby MaryOComment: This is an absolutely beautiful shot. Nice lighting, really crisp.
I haven't been to the Basilica since I was a kid and I went on a CCD field trip. Now you have me wanting to go back.
It's amazing how little you visit the things that are in your own back yard. I actually worked about a block and half from the basilica for about two years. I went to the library across the street a couple times, but never here. |

Miscellanyby GermaineComment: I've often thought of doing this, but it ended at that...thought. Good to see someone else do it. |

Bald Head Sunsetby swankFotoComment: Beautiful shot. Bald Head is a such great vacation spot that no one has heard of. We were there July 2007. We want to go back. |

Flight of the Gullsby BrianRComment: To me, the foreground bokeh is not immediately apparent. Becasue it is almost completely below the gulls, the green actually appears to be a bush beyond them. Upon much closer inspection I see that, yes, it is in front of them. I think that that is where your score suffered. People vote quickly, and may not have picked up that it was in the foreground.
I too agree with JuliBoc. I wish the gulls were facing the camera. But otherwise, I like the shot. |

Lord of The Fall by SimmsComment: This just proves you can't tell from the thumbnail. Th thumbnail looks like a blob of brown. And then you open it.....
Speechless.
Between you & Alex, you have me wanting to come to London, just to go to Richmond Park. |
