Fragile Strengthby rmlutgenComment: Nice shoot, but even with this title I don't think it fits quite well on the dificult "strength" shotting challenge. Placing a coloured sheet of peper behind the flower to hide the rest of the things could had made the photo more "powerful", just an idea. |

Viperby HomunculusComment: May be a little "out of contest"? Strength is a very wide subject, and chosing the right title helps a lot in those cases... "Power of red" or "The power of mechanic" may had make the photo + title more "in place" and raise the final score. Some times details are very important. |

Strength of a Nationby Geo_GriffinComment: I think that the use of flash instead of daylight and the background will lower your final score. Just putting some towel behind it as background (held by hand) would had helped. |

No moreby s2fraserComment: Try natural daylight, it makes shoots much better in general, in the same way flashes ruin most of the shoots. Combining daylight with some artificial coloured light coming from opposite may also help.
I think you had problem with insuficient light, as the subject moves a blur a little the photo.
It is just what I should had tried, but the shoot was nice anyway! |

I'll carry it all.by anmurrellComment: A nice artistic shoot. More light would had let you chose a faster shutter getting the same final effect but without the bluring... but more light can also ruin the final effect.. ones never knows! |

POWERby flip89Comment: Europeans will not give you a good score, we don't trust in military power as much as USA do... but politics apart, the burst efect of light make this a very nice final shoot to me, having same white on sky and stripes make it simple and elegant. Nice work! |

Bullby kposeyComment: Pitty you get it a little out of focus... did you shoot more than one? In this case, I would had shoot 10 ro 20, from the ground looking up, more close, and so on, but if only make a shoot... you bet on a single number!
A good one could have been shooting to the bollocks from near, in some "strange" point of view that make the subject not inmediately recogniceable ;) |

Strength with no controlby nickgustoComment: Imagination is the key in this "strength" contest! I would had use a closer diafragm to focus not only the middle line, but all of them, because having some of the "main characters" out of focus is a little annoying (the first line and the stuff on the back). |
