I'm seeing a lot of photos like this. A nice collection, carefully arranged, and the photo taken with the flash attached to the camera. The flat lighting just kills everything. You have a good eye, and your technique is otherwise good. Try disabling the flash on your camera, and keep shooting!

Learn more about your camera, (turn off the date, and turn up your resolution) and how to process your images (this one is a little over compressed) Just cropping the date off the bottom of this would have gotten it a better score.

This is a good shot, the only problems are technical. I love your collection of lawn ornaments ;)

You are going to hear a lot about not meeting the challenge, but this photo has other problems besides.

Nothing is quite in focus, and it is a little overexposed. But, don't be discouraged! Your composition is very good. Some people get all the technical stuff like focus and processing down, but never get the hang of good composition. You have a good eye, so keep at it!
