A fun action shot. I'd like to see more of their bodies and faces and less of the foreground of the pavement. The focus could be crisper.

the colors are wondeful, but the framing with the flags in the backgroun is distracting. I'm not sure, besides your title, how this would represent the challenge.

This photo really engenders a sense of surprise - how a person could just be tripping through the park and turn a corner and see this, which feels like serendipity to me. I wish the contrast was a little crisper and maybe the framing of the balloon shifted to the right just ever so slightly. But this is definitely in my top 10 for this assignment.

I like the concept of this shot quite a bit and the colors. The child's face looks like a doll - the contrast is a little too great - though the muted dreamy/nostalgia colors work well. The composition is nice, with the line of the puddle pointing to the girl and the large expanse of raindrops.

I like the idea of this photo - the action and story that it conveys. I had trouble telling what the bird had until I looked at the title of the pic. I'd like to see a bit more sharpness on the birds eye and beak but otherwise I like the framing and colors.

I think this is a very interesting shot. I wish some part of the person was in focus though (the brow, probably). I like the candid nature of it and the quality of the exposure on the black and white. I'm not sure how it fits into the challenge but it is compelling none-the-less.

A very interesting and compelling abstract. I had trouble relating it to the challenge but I liked the colors and mixture of shapes.

Interesting take on the assignment. I like the jumble of colors, though they look a bit off to me and I checked on two monitors. The whites of the onions seem a little overexposed in the foreground and the photo lacks overall composition.

Is the serendipity of this photo that there was a race car in the mall? If so, I think I would have liked to have seen more to show the setting of the mall itself to help me place it better. The yellow of the car is wonderful. I'm not sure where your focus on the composition is, though I don't mind the motion blur of the passersby since that makes an interesting statement (people in motion, car not).

It took me a while to figure this one out (with help from your title). Still, it's not clear that there's another fish in the mouth - it simply looks like this fish has a forked tongue (which would be an interesting find, actually). I would have liked to see if framed a little better to see that other fish in the mouth, and maybe pull back a little so we can see more of the larger fish (more of its eye, anyway) Good catch!
