"Keeping your eye on the ball"by geewhyComment: Really great capture. The intense focus of both subjects on the ball and the attention of the spectators really makes this shine. The repetition of the red/orange in the seats and the jersey makes the whole thing pop. Bumping this up from an 8 to a 9. |

If Looks Could Kill!by woohoopepperComment: Interesting use of selective desaturation. The focus is great as is the classic pose. Ugly bird ... but that's immaterial to it being a great photo. Maybe a little too much dark wing/body on the right. 8 |

It's a PIECE OF CAKE!by Jaded_HousewifeComment: Nice subject and good styling. The dribbles around the cake (the small ones) are a little distracting from the cake and overall crispness of the composition. I might have wanted a little bit sharper focus on the cake itself. |

Cat got your tongue...???by JumanaComment: Well, it's a picture of a cat and I'm usually loathe to say anything like DNMC, but it doesn't really illustrate the saying. As a composition, the blown out highlights in the lower right and along the right side don't help me much. The Focus seems a little soft and undefined. |
