Simple Refractionby SamDoe1Comment: Nicely done--it might have been a little more distinctive if the words were reversed in the background, and the right way around in the glass. The crop on top and bottom is bothering me, but I don't know how to change that. Message edited by author 2006-04-12 10:43:37. |

I guess I saw this a lot differently than most. BTW, the rules don't actually say anything about the subject, just the challenge description... :-) |

Drift Awayby scalvertComment: A fantastic image! I like the composition, although I might have put her on the left, as it seems the wind was coming from the right. Your model did a great job--is she on a trampoline, or was she tossed? :-) |

Fact - details of challenges are noted in the challenge itself.
Fact - challenge details quote, "Take a photograph using a shutter speed of exactly 2 seconds."
Fact - it's a nice photograph
Fact - it doesn't comply with the challenge |
You left out Fact 3: "...Afterall, why should he have a photo DQed if it wasn't a DQable offense?" Check the rules--you can't be DQ'ed for not meeting the challenge!
"Entries will not be disqualified for misinterpreting or failing to meet the challenge to which they are entered. Please do not request disqualification for these reasons, as such requests will not be considered." -from Advanced Editing ruleset.
Great capture, Justin. (But watch out for possible changes to challenge rules in the future which could allow for DQ for not meeting the challenge...had a fun one already with Rubber Ducky.) Message edited by author 2006-03-29 16:52:19. |

Alien Attackby Nikolai1024Comment: Pretty easily identifiable at first glance...the green hue is good for the alien "face." |
