Wet Kissby DarkRiderComment: Great macro - excellent colors, composition, and exposure. The fin patterns are a true visual treat. |

Sky Highby arnitComment: Whoo hoo -what a ride. Is that NOT a youngster? Great capture, perfect exposure. It would probably be better if the negative space was in front of the rider rather than behind, but it's a suprb shot nonethless. |

Surpriseby marboComment: Superb action both with the wave and the man. Your timing is100%. Exposure excellent and that's hard on very frothy water. Should finish in the high rise apartments! |

Drop of Creamby wkoffelComment: Well done. I like your choice of colors. Composition is right on. The darker spots on the lip of the cup are a bit bothersome. This is not an easy shot - congrats on getting it done! |

A View From Aboveby LittleGreenKatComment: The idea was a good one, Composition seems like you are on the right track. It's a bit soft and a bit on the small side as well. |

Salmon Leapby ImagineerComment: Who stole your bear? This is great - don't recall seeing one bearless for quite some time. The stop action is perfect, composition superb. The only problem is the oof rocks in the lower right, but you can't have both a super-fast shutter and a stopped-down lens. Exposure on the white water is tough, but you handled it very well - keeping the salmon's colors. Overall - top 10 in my opinion. |

Tandemby scrum8Comment: What PERFECT timing. Looks like a mirror image. You've pulled off a masterpiece that will finish in the stratosphere! |

Finally doing the laundryby siggiComment: There are very few shots that are packed full of total WOW - but this is one of them. Could it be possible that this was a "first try" - as her clothes don't even look wet yet! I'll be very surprised if this doesn't finish 2nd! (I know that's a risky prediction, but it's my guess.) Everything is just "right" - congratulations on a superb entry. |

Rifle Shooted Water Balloon. by eojedaaComment: WOWZERS! Now that's what I call stop action! Even though you had little control over what shapes would evolve - it is a really pleasing composition. Not to mention your choice of balloon color, background and lighting setup are perfect. If this one doesn't win the blue..... I'll be shocked. Message edited by author 2004-09-27 12:12:06. |

Future World Cup Starby TLL061Comment: It's a nice scene and has great potential of team "action. " I revisted this image and re-scored, looking to see if the "action" was a key element. Although it's not action-packed, it does have the kinetic energy required. Nice submission. |
